Others have made similar comments, but the shorter version is: this looks like a MPlayer compiled without x11, xv or gl (or even libSDL) support.
Check you have X11 and OpenGL development headers installed when compiling, possibly also libSDL.
An explicit "-vo gl" when running might be good.
