Yes, that's very similar to what I'm getting on my desktop machine.

Interestingly, the same video plays perfectly on my netbook, using an old 
version of MPlayer (SVN-r32819) from Splitted-Desktops. I have to use the 
older version on the netbook, because it has an Ati gfx card, and nobody has 
updated the vaapi enabled version of MPlayer since January. The patches don't 
apply properly to later versions, and I'm not a good enough coder to figure out 
why!

Perhaps its a case of the older ones are the best! ;)

Must try and build the splitted-desktop version for my desktop......!
