Most people will be thinking "Top-posting? What on earth is this 
crazy/stupid person talking about?" because they have been sending
e-mail like this ever since they got on the Internet, and nobody
ever complained. Since they believe that you are crazy or stupid,
why would they waste time to search in Google?

Those who did not act as above will surely top-post again and ask
you what "top-posting" is. I think that it is a most unusual person
who will Google to find out about top-posting when he encounters the
term for the first time.

So if your intent is to prevent the top-posting, you need to do a
little more than say "don't do it!", but if you enjoy bashing them,
then certainly you can wait for the inevitable 2nd offence.
