[MPlayer-users] [BUGREPORT] mpeg muxer seems broken

Hi,

with mplayer-cvs when input.mpg has MP2 audio

mencoder -of mpeg   -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg1video -oac copy -o 
x.mpg input.mpg

produces a file which seems to embed audio (at least based on the file 
size), but  it seems it doesn't expose it (no player 'sees' its audio 
content).

BTW, since all audio codecs present in  libavcodec (such as ac3enc and 
mp2enc) are always compiled in mplayer, why not exposing  them to mencoder?
