(not to mention the advantage of a good tvout and MPEG1/2 decoding...)

Can anyone recommend a good recommendation for SDPDIF digital out?  I've
read in the DOCS about the recommendation of the SB Live
recommendations, but at $60 it's just too pricey of a solution.
