[MPlayer-users] mencoder & -noskip

hey,

what i read from the holy FM, is that -noskip (alone) would disable frame 
skipping, and as there is no mention about with which codecs this works, i 
assume it is supposed to work with all..

but atleast mencoder tells to stdout that it is skipping a frame.. with a dvd 
which has a lot of skipped frames in audio encoding phase, the resultant 
movie gets out of sync, though mplayer thinks it's in sync.. so doesn't this 
-noskip work or is there some other problem with a/v sync with some titles?
