problem is clear what can we do to solve it?

why arent more people reviewing patches?
why arent more people testing patches?
why arent more people applying reviewed patches?

maybe a useable patchtracker (like roundup) would help?
at least patches wouldnt get lost

maybe simply asking people who submitted a patch to help reviewing
patches from other people (aka peer review) would help?
