I've discovered a way to run this on my slower hardware and be able to
tell if there are problems - by setting "-speed" option to < 1.0. And
I can now see that mplayer does indeed behave exactly as you've stated
on the mpg version of the file, even on Windows. I'm not sure what was
going on but at least I can now see what you say I should see. When I
get the dvr-ms version to play the same way I'll submit a patch. Sorry
for the mixup but I dont quite know how it came about.
