Exactly. They are selling ppc macs for another 2years, and they will
get faster. Don't forget some mplayer devs are using premiums still!
The mac will still be a mac, just with a different engine. I also
like the ppc architecture, but I say there is at least 7 years before
most of the ppc macs are not supported and gone. That's a long time
(but not long enough).
