[MEncoder-users] Audio/Video Sync Issue

Hi, 

I have the same problems with dvb-t-captureing using the 1.1 release as
reported by Linux <linux at thehoytfamily.com> on 2012-06-01. The problem
occured the first time when upgrading to Fedora 16. MPlayer-1.0rc4 is
working well in F16, but i couldn't get it to compile in F17.

There seams to be some issue with the detection of duplicate frames. The
output of the 1.1 release while capturing is

Every 10th frame is marked as duplicate, the framrate remains at about
22 fps.

For comparison the output of an older working mencoder release is

After 102 frames there are no more duplicate frames and the framerate
rises to 25 fps.

I tried the options

mpegopts=format=dvdmpeg2:tsaf=1:vframerate=25:muxrate=10000:vbitrate=10000
noskip=1
fps=25
ofps=25
mc=0
vf=softskip,harddup

in different combinations, none worked. What to do next? Can anybody
help?
