Interlaced scaling means that the two fields are scaled independently,
this means that e.g. with certain scalers upscaling will _always_
be 100% lossless, no deinterlacer can guarantee that unless you double
the frame-rate.
Deinterlacing and interlaced scaling are in no way comparable at all.
