I did some further tests and found that most of the videos in fact work 
fine. However, there are sometimes videos where the timestamps start 
with rather high numbers and are reset to 0 in the middle of the film. 
It seems that in these videos, there is a problem. The timestamps I have 
in the edl list cut out other parts of the video that what I intended. I 
only can edit properly after a first "-oac copy -ovc copy" of the video.
