I suspect one of these options may be the culprit...  Try encoding
without them, and see if things improve.

Also, you aren't setting a vrc_minrate, which may lead to a buffer
UNDERflow.  Players usually don't have a problem handling that, but
perhaps yours does.

Those are my only guesses.
