Duplicate frames are a GOOD THING.

In this case, it means pullup is doing a good job of reversing the telecine, so subsuquent frames are identical, rather than broken.

If you encode interlaced material without deinterlacing it, you won't see one "duplicate frame" message.  If you properly deinterlace the interlaced material, then you'll start to see duplicate frames.
