My guess is that btaudio is giving you sound at a highly nonstandard
samplerate, whereas mp3 only supports a few fixed samplerates. But
it's impossible for us to tell what's wrong without seeing your
command lines and mencoder/mplayer output. Try setting mencoder's tv
capture to use 32000 hz audio sampling, and if that doesn't work, post
a proper error/bug report here so we have enough information to try to
help you. BTW please don't top-post when using mailing lists.
