Hello Help
I have scoured the internet to find an nsv to avi
converter and so far I am impressed with the
capabilities of mencoder.
I have more or less figured out a pile of thing on my
own ,however I am now stuck.
Here is the problem... I have downloaded a nsv file
using Hidownload <http://www.streamingstar.com/>
the total file size is 8.2mb and the bitrate is 350.
(don't know whether it's sound or video).
The result:
1. song registers as 2:30 long song, but plays through
in 3 seconds.(could be hidownload that does this?)
(or simply the nsv copy protection?)
2. when I try to convert the song using mencoder I
end up with a 60kb to 70kb file that is 1 sec long
and the video is corrupt.(this I know happens
durring mencoder procces)(could be that I don't
have the correct codecs)
(step 2 happens even when I convert from http source)
Could someone please tell me how you got nsv files
converted to avi correctly? If possible what codecs
you used and how you installed the codecs on a winXp
system.
Thanks Glitch
Below is the command line I used and the output from
mencoder.
I am using WinXp, and have downloaded the latest
windows-all-codecpack.
