No royalty is paid, but donations are welcome. Axon, DVR Examiner,
Amped, entities that distribute FFmpeg binary or distribute their own
closed source binary that links to libav must
* make an offer for the GPL source code used
* enclose a copy of the GPL license along with the product.
* supply compiling instructions.
to each end user of Axon, DVR Examiner, Amped, etc. I would say these
are the most important, but FFmpeg legal

completely violate FFmpeg's licensing terms including Bluesound /
Lenbrook for the past 14 years.
