Hi I'm also working on a new GUI for mplayer. It will use mplayer skins and communicate with it using slave mode. One disadvantage is that slave mode for mingw version does not work at all and I did not find a decent soution. Cygwin version works well fortunately. I hope I will finish it much earlier than gtk2 version :) Bye Deje
