fixing demuxer lavf for the binary codecs would seem like a nicer long
term solution what is the problem?, extradata format?

Its not that you shouldnt use gotos but rather that you should write
readable code and code with gotos often but not always is less readable

Is there any chance of the LAVF demuxer being able to use binary codecs?
