yep this is not clean

but it's possible to check if a given driver (codec family) is available or
not (by scanning the ad.c/vd.c list)

i'll add this later, as i'll change the codecs.conf->driver relation method
from ID (afm/vfm number) to driver name
so it ha sno sense of impleenting it ID-based because of this code will eb
dropped soon
