Why are you using SIGHUP? If you want MPlayer to exit cleanly,
use one of the signals intended for a program to exit cleanly.
In case of MPlayer, pick one of
SIGINT, SIGTERM or SIGQUIT
SIGPIPE should also work, but I wouldn't recommend that for the purpose.
