Thanks for checking this out. I greatly appreciate this :)

Still given this huge amount of key bindings, I wonder whether I would be
able to
enter an arbitrary (alphanumeric) text into the text box drawn by mplayer.
This is quite important requirement.

I have been looking whether anyone else has done anything like that before,
and so far the bets I could find is bmovl2 i vf_overlay. Anyone knows
what's its status?
