[MPlayer-users] /libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libschroedinger-1.0.so.10" not found, required by "mplayer"

Dear folks,

running FreeBSD 8.2 amd64

[olivares at tricorehome ~]$ which mplayer
/usr/local/bin/mplayer
[olivares at tricorehome ~]$ mplayer -playlist .playlist
/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libschroedinger-1.0.so.10" not found, required by "mplayer"

mplayer does not play anymore :(  
mplayer svn compiled from source.  the mplayer from ports does not compile log2f error from thread.

Ideas/Suggestions/advice are welcome and appreciated.
