[MPlayer-users] mplayer: EDL's pause/hang or loop forever with MPEG input

Hello all.

With the following files: http://rogerdpack.t28.net/incoming/Sintel_NTSC_VOB.tgz
If I run mplayer with this EDL (dvdnav://1)

$ cat yo.edl
5 6 0
55 58 0

The skip from seconds 5 to 6 works well.
The skip from 55 to 58 "loops" playing (approximately?) from seconds
54.5 to 55 over and over again, presumably in error.

Also if I run with this EDL:
$ cat yo.edl
54.0 64.5 0

It seems to pause at second 54 using nearly 100% cpu

These same EDL's seem to work fine against an mkv file.  The problem
seem reproducible in windows/linux., and also the problem seem
reproducible with windows.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
