[MPlayer-users] Using the D510MO Mini-ITX platform for full HD playback

Indeed, h.264 is pretty CPU intensive although the x264 encoder (the one 
used in ffmpeg and mencoder and most open source tools) can take 
advantage of multiple cores. I run it on a AMD quadcore 9750). DivX/Xvid 
will encode faster and so will MPEG2 but the quality will be noticeably 
worse than h.264 at the same size.

But np, I will sent you the command line later (have to do some more 
actual work that pays ;-). Btw, YAMF only does VP8 and h.264 - I sort of 
think everything else is pretty much obsolete these days ...
