[MPlayer-users] Can't fast-forward on a DVD

Hello.

I have tried to play one of my DVDs in mplayer on my computer, but even
though the film is played correctly, hitting 'right arrow' or 'page up' to
fast-forward stucks mplayer.

I don't have any warning or error message to report: mplayer just stops
forever, and I have to ctrl-c to exit.

This is with

$ mplayer -v
MPlayer SVN-r31984-4.3.3 (C) 2000-2010 MPlayer Team

I have many other DVDs that play just fine.

Any hint?
