[MPlayer-users] [MPlayer] stops streaming when satellite stream is blocked by heavy rain

Hi there,

I use a Dreambox to record DVB (MPEG2) programs from satellite. This works
almost excellent in combination with mplayer.
When the feed from the satellite is blocked due to like heavy rain mplayer
stops streaming. I use a command like:
mplayer -dumpstream
http://192.168.1.103:8001/1:0:1:7D5:449:35:c00000:0:0:0-dumpfile
video-program.ts

Is there a option within MPlayer to prevent this from happening that it just
temporarily stops/pauses recording/streaming and continues when the signal
has returned?
I mean I don't see any reason to stop recording when there are glitches in
the signal.
