Wrong settings there were often a cause for horrible performance in the
past, thus you are advised to check them (MPlayer can't, i.e. you get
that message whether they are wrong or right).
I think its hardly ever a problem nowadays it probably makes sense to at
least modify or even remove that message, but I am busy with other stuff
;-)
