Hello!

I've got an old Bt8x8-based TV card, from which i want to record TV
broadcasts. With TVtime, it works fine. I tried to record from it with
Mencoder, and it recorded fine the movie, but without sound.
I tried to wtach TV with Mplayer, and the sound is good, although the player
says "No sound..." (With or without "forceaudio=1"). When i record a movie
with Mencoder, i can hear the sound of the TV broadcast that i'm recording,
but on the recorded movie, there is silence. (-oac copy, no chance for a
bad codec). Mencoder doesn't say that theres is no sound.

My system has an Intel HD Audio on-board sound card, microphone works
fine on Skype. Operating system is KUbuntu 9.10, with Pulse Audio. Mplayer
is latest from SVN. (I had similar problems with earlier KUbuntu distros,
and i haven't found a solution.)
The bttv, bt878 sound driver, and other hw drivers are (i think) ok, because
TVtime works.

My command line was
mencoder -tv
driver=v4l2:device=/dev/video0:input=0:audiorate=44100:amode=0:audioid=1:normid=5:quality=100:width=640:height=480:volume=600:chanlist=europe-
east:channel=E7:forcechan=2 -ovc lavc -oac copy -o tv.mpg tv://
I haven't got any changes in audio, when i set amode to any value.

If someone wants to see, i can send the whole Mplayer / Mencoder output,
and command lines.
Or, if someone can help me, i will be thankful :)
