No. xinelib uses ffmpeg internally, just like mplayer does.
Or do you think that src/libffmpeg in the xinelib source
might be a mere coincidence of name?

Yes, and the other set is ffmpeg with a different wrapper lib around
it, nothing else.

When i said that ffmpeg is _the_codec_library_ then i mean it
that way. Heck, even a lot of comercial players use it, if not
most of them.
