since sunday libdvdnav doesn't include anymore the sources
of libdvdread (but it still needs libdvdread), so checkout the
whole dvdnav repos (if you prefer) and install 
- first libdvdread
- second libdvdnav
- third mplayer

That's all, nothing could be easier
