There are 28 chapters in this DVD title.
There are 11 titles on this DVD.
There are 1 angles in this DVD title.

But playing

Using MMX optimized resampler
AUDIO: 48000 Hz, 2 ch, s16le, 32.0 kbit/2.08% (ratio: 4000->192000)
Selected audio codec: [a52] afm: liba52 (AC3-liba52)
==========================================================================
The 32.0 kbit/2.08% (ratio...) is something strange, how come there are
only 32.0 kbit. if I play the other 5.1 track, I get
==========================================================================
==========================================================================
Opening audio decoder: [liba52] AC3 decoding with liba52
Using SSE optimized IMDCT transform
Using MMX optimized resampler
AUDIO: 48000 Hz, 6 ch, s16le, 448.0 kbit/9.72% (ratio: 56000->576000)
Selected audio codec: [a52] afm: liba52 (AC3-liba52)
==========================================================================
448.0 kbit looks more like it. How come it doesn't complain about the
unimplemented resample?
Playing the french stereo track:

Using MMX optimized resampler
AUDIO: 48000 Hz, 2 ch, s16le, 192.0 kbit/12.50% (ratio: 24000->192000)
Selected audio codec: [a52] afm: liba52 (AC3-liba52)
==========================================================================
If I change the channels by pressing # four times I get back to the
english 5.1 track, but look at this (output after pressing # for the
fourth time):
==========================================================================
AO: [alsa] 48000Hz 6ch s16le (2 bytes per sample)
==========================================================================
Opening audio decoder: [liba52] AC3 decoding with liba52
Using SSE optimized IMDCT transform
AUDIO: 48000 Hz, 6 ch, s16le, 448.0 kbit/29.17% (ratio: 56000->192000)
Selected audio codec: [a52] afm: liba52 (AC3-liba52)
==========================================================================
Now it is correctly recognized as 5.1, and I get sound from all speakers.
If I dump the disc, I get the same behaviour, so I uploaded the thing to
incoming, under the name stripes.vob
(at the moment, it is 5MB and growing, overall size is ~70MB for 1
minute, but we'll see how much I can upload with this crappy 16KB/s
upstream.
