[MPlayer-users] Gmplayer cannot open files

Hi,

The Gui gmplayer cannot open files with spaces in the filename or
spaces in the path to the file. A widely reported workaround is to
change handling of file from URL to File. Editing:

/usr/local/share/applications/mplayer.desktop

to replace:

Exec=gmplayer %U

with this:

Exec=gmplayer %F

This works but can this or another option be altered at the svn end of
things?
