At the moment I've noticed that you cannot use any frontend > 0 on an
adapter.

My Card has:

ls /dev/dvb/adapter0/
crw-rw---- 1 root video 212,  4 2008-04-09 10:56 demux0
crw-rw---- 1 root video 212, 20 2008-04-09 10:56 demux1
crw-rw---- 1 root video 212,  5 2008-04-09 10:56 dvr0
crw-rw---- 1 root video 212, 21 2008-04-09 10:56 dvr1
crw-rw---- 1 root video 212,  3 2008-04-09 10:56 frontend0
crw-rw---- 1 root video 212, 19 2008-04-09 10:56 frontend1
crw-rw---- 1 root video 212,  7 2008-04-09 10:56 net0
crw-rw---- 1 root video 212, 23 2008-04-09 10:56 net1

0 = DVB-S and 1 = DVB-T

and I have to
ls /dev/dvb/adapter1/
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root  24 2008-04-08 22:59 demux0
-> /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root  22 2008-04-08 22:59 dvr0
-> /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root  27 2008-04-08 22:59 frontend0
-> /dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root  22 2008-04-08 22:59 net0
-> /dev/dvb/adapter0/net1

and I go dvb://1@XXXX

I rather do something like

dvb://0/1@XXX or maybe dvb://0-1@XXX or something else ? suggestions?

I had the same problem with mythtv accessing the card (no one ever had a
card with multiple frontends so it was never written in)
(http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/ticket/5061)

Not many cards have multiple frontends but they are starting to.

Thanks
