[MPlayer-users] More subtitle woes

OK, thanks for that.

Let's examine this a bit more closely.

Here's what mplayer claims is present on title 5 of the region 2 release of 
Mona Lisa Smile:

subtitle ( sid ): 0 language: en
subtitle ( sid ): 1 language: nl

If I do this:

c:\mplayer\mplayer.exe -dvd-device d: dvd://5 -sid 0

...I get English subtitles. If I do this:

c:\mplayer\mplayer.exe -dvd-device d: dvd://5 -sid 1

... I get Dutch subtitles. Fine; this is all as expected. However, if I do 
this:

c:\mplayer\mplayer.exe -dvd-device d: dvd://5 -dumpstream -dumpfile 
f:\dump.vob

....followed by this:

c:\mplayer\mplayer.exe f:\dump.vob -sid 0

... I get English subtitles. Then, if I do this:

c:\mplayer\mplayer.exe f:\dump.vob -sid 1

...I get English again. This is not what I expect to happen. What am I doing 
wrong?
