Hi guys,
I normally use mplayer to listen (and save) real audio streams, that way I
can download a few files and listen them when I want to.
One stream in particular, is not working anymore since a few weeks ago. I can
listen it with Real Player, but mplayer keeps saying "connection timeout"
when it tries to connect to the server.
Is there any option I can try to get this stream working again?
The server is ms.espectador.com, and here is an address that works with Real
Audio and doesn't work with mplayer:
rtsp://ms.espectador.com/audio/app_metafiles/dol0703261.rm
mplayer tries to connect to port 554 and gets a timeout, later it tries 7070
and gets a timeout too. Finally it tries on 80 and gets a 404 HTTP Error.
Trying with Real Player takes like 20 seconds, so maybe the server is slow.
But mplayer timeouts after almost 1 minute, so I don't think that's the
problem
Anyway, executing
mplayer rtsp://ms.espectador.com/audio/app_metafiles/dol0703261.rm -v >> log
2>> log
gives me this output ( I cut some parts that I think are not relevant)
