A parameter that is not known by the configure script.

Use ./configure --help to show currently valid options to use with
configure. If it doesn't show up, configure doesn't know about it.

Make sure you have compiled the latest live555 source. That's another
story.  But if you've done that, just copy the whole live directory into the
/usr/lib/ directory. If you do that, you shouldn't have to use any options.
The configure script should  find the live555 libraries on its own.

You should have a /usr/lib/live directory.

There are other ways to do this. But this is probably the simplest.

Since you're compiling your own source, why don't you just download the
latest subversion?
