Here is my code, and I seemed to have sort of solved it by scaling the
video, the original was 1280 wide. As best I can tell, the video is
interlaced. The video will not play smoothly until I drop the -ofps down
to 15, but then there are lot bad frames in the video. I'm playing with
-vf tfields=?. I used the flix demo on2 encoder, and although it is at
best the same quality, it does play smoothly. Which is what I need to
achieve. Thanks!
mencoder BHH720p.mov -o BHH_1070_2.flv -vf scale=720:400
-of lavf -oac mp3lame -lameopts abr:br=48 -mc 0.0001 -ovc lavc
-lavcopts
vcodec=flv:vpass=1:vbitrate=1070:aspect=16/9:v4mv:mbd=2:trell:cbp:last_pred=3:keyint=60
-ofps 29.97 -srate 22050 -lavfopts
