[MPlayer-users] FLV MetaData Looks like error???

Hi, All,

Are Flash huru there? I'm trying to investigate how metadata are written in
FLV, produced by mencoder. The very last bytes look as incorrectly written,
though file is playing OK in the FlashPlayer.

Look here:

As Flash docs tell us, the trailing bytes should be a SCRIPTDATAOBJECTEND
record, which looking as

0x02 0x00 0x00 0x09

But what I see after the final data varable (it is the file size value), are
just three bytes:

0x00 0x00 0x09

So, who is lying here, a Macromedia's doc or the MEncoder?

I'm just afraid that (if it is an error in the code) It may give an error on
some new Flash player verson.

Thanks.
