[MPlayer-users] Any audio decoder for EAC3?

Hi, my friends

Some recent HDRips are using sound tracks in the fomat of EAC3, and my
mplayer said
[mkv] Track ID 1: video (V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC), -vid 0
[mkv] Unknown/unsupported audio codec ID 'A_EAC3' for track 2 or
missing/faulty
[mkv] private codec data.
[mkv] Track ID 2: audio (A_EAC3), -aid 0, -alang und
[mkv] Will play video track 1.
Matroska file format detected.

and then there is no sound.

Is there any way to ply EAC3 with mplayer?
or using some external codec?
I can provide the sample file if needed.
