It's all in  the documentation at http://mplayerhq.hu or in your man  
page (man mplayer). It is worth noting that there is no "stop" option  
in MPlayer, only Quit. Further more, all of those "options" have  
binary paramters: either you're playing, or you're paused. There is  
no in-between.
