hello,

i´m new in this forum..hope i post in the right way and to the right subforum...
i´d like to run mplayer under windows(if not possible i have also suse linux 9.1 to realise what i want to do).
is it possible to run mplayer from command line, and to use via command just one(mono) channel of my 8-channel soundcard? i´d like to run several streaming-instances of mplayer.
i´ve set up in the control pannel "system wave".
i can´t get out any signal with this setting..just if i set up "wave 1/2" or "wave 3/4"... but that´s not what i want.
i can´t find out in the documentation neighter on google how´s the correct parameter entering to work with soundcard devices regarding to several audiochannels - just how to you use e.g. two soundcards in one system.
can you help me?
