Hi,
I have recently installed MPlayer 1.0rc2-4.1.2 and was creating some movies
with mencoder using this command:
mencoder mf://im/*.png -mf w=800:h=400:fps=3:type=png -ovc lavc -lavcopts \
vcodec=mpeg4:mbd=2:trell -oac copy -o im/img_t.avi
At first, the resulting movie showed flawlessly when I viewed it with
MPlayer, but after having suspended my laptop overnight to disk and
resumed today, the MPlayer window is empty. In the first try, there was at
least a black frame, but after that it was just an empty frame. The output
in the shell window, however, looks as usual:
1700km_nih> mplayer im/img_t.avi

and the movie seems to play; it is just not shown. If you want to try it, I
have put it here: http://www.dtm.ciw.edu/ruedas/img_t.avi (4.8 MB).
My machine is a Amilo Pi with an ATI Radeon Mobility X-1400 and runs under
SUSE Linux 10.2, with the avi kernel modules added. Does anybody have an
idea what is going on and how to fix it?
Thomas
