[MPlayer-users] question on mplayer overlays using XV

Hi,
I'm trying to figure out how mplayer handles clipping (some other
application's window covering a part of the mplayer video window) in
the absence of colorkeys? I'm using the xv extension on linux for the
overlay, but the expose events in vo_xv.c don't seem to be triggering
anything... Am I looking at the wrong place?

I'd appreciate any help.
