[MPlayer-users] UTF-8 character in titlebar can't be shown

Dear MPlayer lovers,

I have a problem in MPlayer rc1 that I can't see UTF-8 characters of
the name of my media file in the title bar.

When I have combined characters in UTF-8 - that is Japanese and Latin,
the Japanese characters simply vanish leaving the Latin characters
alone. Do I have to compile mplayer with a patch to fix this problem?

Does anyone know how to apply patch?
