Hi all,
I recorded TV with mencoder without problems. But suddenly there is
a problem and I don't know the reason. I really don't think there
were any changes to my system which could have caused this error.
The command below was the one that worked and is now not working
anymore. I didn't have to give additional options for -tv.
---------------------------------->%--------------------------------------------------------
$ mencoder tv://21 -tv driver=v4l2 -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=2000 -oac mp3lame -lameopts cbr:br=128 -o test.avi

Of course, after a while the video buffer gets full and the frames dropped.
Watching TV with mplayer is still no problem (I get sound) even if
there's a message "Audio: no sound". But I don't know if this message
was also there when recording with mencoder was still working.
I'm using Debian GNU/Linux unstable (2.6.12-1-k7) with mencoder from
debian-multimedia.org.
