[MPlayer-users] MPlayer was compiled without libmp3lame support

Andrew,

I followed the instruction in the README but I still
get error when using mencoder.

WHen I ran mencoder to convert movie to flv, I got
this error" MPlayer was compiled without libmp3lame
support.".  when I use mencoder with -nosound, the
video work perfectly.  This is the command i used 

"mencoder MOV01048.MPG -of lavf -lavfopts
i_certify_that_my_video_stream_does_not_use_b_frames
-oac mp3lame -lameopts abr:br=64 -srate 44100 -ovc
lavc -lavcopts vcodec=flv:vbitrate=240:autoaspect -o
test.flv"

when i ran "locate libmp3lame" the result is "

/usr/lib/libmp3lame.a
/usr/lib/libmp3lame.la
/usr/lib/libmp3lame.so
/usr/lib/libmp3lame.so.0
/usr/lib/libmp3lame.so.0.0.0
/usr/lib64/libmp3lame.so

I have lame install lame at "which lame
/usr/local/bin/lame
"
