[MPlayer-users] [bug-report] "direct rendering" pitch errors with xv.

Version:
SVN as of today.
Summary:
When "direct rendering" (mplayer codecs rendering directly into an xv
image) is enabled together with the xv module, the codec does not adhere
to the Xv image offsets and pitches that the xv module gets from the X
server. The image will be distorted.
This may be a problem with binary-only win32 codecs and not easily fixable.
How to reproduce:
Run the mplayer command at the top of the attached log on an X server
that requires a certain Xv image pitch alignment. For example the via /
openchrome /unichrome driver.
How to avoid:
Don't use direct rendering (the -dr option).
