[MPlayer-users] Quicktime Playback

Hey Y'all,

I have a video cue for a show I'm doing this week and the video file I
was given does not play. It has a ".mov" extension and when I get
MPlayer to -identify, I get information about the audio being in mp3
format (which I don't have trouble with usually.) There is no video
information.

Instead I get "Encrypted VOB file!" repeated about a hundred times. It
also says
"MPEG-PS file format detected.
"missing marker bit!
"MPEG: bad sequence header
"Video: Cannot read properties"

Eventually, the program ends with "File doesn't contain the selected
audio or video stream."

I'm running MPlayer 1.0pre4-3.3.1 (I also tried it on a laptop with
1.0pre5). My director says that she didn't encrypt it (nor does she know
how to do this), but that she did it on a mac with quicktime (she thinks
it may be QT version 7). Any ideas on ways to play or re-encode this file?

Thanks,
Taylor Smith
