[MPlayer-users] How to use filmdint with 3pass?

Hi all,

Im trying to encode 50fps HDTV recorded video at 25fps.

To encode the video, im using mencoder options:
"-fps 50 -ofps 25 -vf filmdint=crop=$CROPXY/io=2:1,crop=$CROPXY,scale=$SCALEXY,hqdn3d"

This works perfectly and gives me the desired 25fps smooth video.

The problem is when i try to use "frameno.avi" created by mplayer for audio.

If i give the mplayer lame audio encoding commend line "-fps 50 -ofps 25" when
mencoder then encodes the video, it skips every second frame giving me choppy
video (ie, it doesnt use filmdint).

If i use "-fps 50 -ofps 50" on the mplayer command line, mencoder does the
filmdint properly, but the video plays at 50fps giving me 1/2 speed video but
correct speed audio.

So what options do i need to use with mplayer to correct this?

Thanks.
